We purchased the van using money from our casino fundraisers. Many thanks to Bill Arnott for initiating the purchase of the van, and for arranging the people to design, paint, and provide insurance. Bill stayed on and made sure everything was in order and proceeding on schedule, even though he is no longer on the executive since his daughter 'aged out'. Another big thank you to Rod McLeod for creating the designs on our van. He donated countless hours to help us out, and we are very appreciative of his time and talents! Rod also got the website up and rolling and has been instrumental in helping us every step of the way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONGRATULATIONS to WO Sanchez for getting his wings this summer! He went through six weeks of intense para training and studying at Connaught [in Ontario], and he graduated. We are very proud of you, WO Sanchez. Here is a picture of Sanchez just after he graduated and received his wings.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On September 10th, 2007 RSM Vanderveer officially 'aged out'. He has been an oustanding cadet and has provided tremendous leadership to the corps. The good news is he now comes in to volunteer with the corps as a civilian. Thank you David for ALL that you have done for the corps! His picture is on the cube van, so he will always be part of the corps.
