1. Will my child be recruited to join the army through the cadet corps?

A: Absolutely NOT! This is NOT a recruiting program.

The Army Cadet program:

* provides cadets with the possibility of travel and adventure
* presents opportunities to develop lifelong friendships.

A: Nothing. There is no cost to join our corps. Each cadet will be issued a full uniform for parades and also a full uniform and equipment for Field Training Exercises [FTX]. When a cadet leaves the corps, he/she MUST return all of the items or else they will have to pay for them.
